Quick update & Robin's first attempt

Ryland wants to thank Aunt Beffie for all her hard work on the Caring Bridge website and on this new blog. He already knows his mommy is somewhat technically challenged and required lots of help to get this thing going! He also wants to ask anyone who reads this blog to forgive his mommy because she is not the wonderful writer that his Aunt Beffie is and will likely have may grammatical errors. Two weeks ago today, Ryland had his 2 month old pediatric visit. I am happy to report at that visit he was 9 pounds 7 ounces! His appetite has vastly improved and I am sure he is gaining more weight everyday. We even got the "ok" for Ryland to get in the swimming pool! We moved back into our house 1 week ago this past Sunday (we stayed with Oma and Papa for several weeks after we came home from Duke because our house is still being remodeled). Ryland got a chance to take a nap in his new crib although he still sleeps in the cradle beside the bed at night. I (Robin) went back to work Tuesday but have been able to see Ryland everyday at lunch time. Aunt Chrys brought him to the office for me twice this week and I came home to see him the day Papa watched him. Being able to see him like that makes the day better. We are all adjusting well to being home and "getting back to normal." We will try to post as Ryland keeps growing and include any milestones he reaches. Thank you to everyone who has been following his story and praying for him. The fact that he is still here is a testimate to the power of prayer.
