Ryland is stable.

Thank you for the enormous outpouring of support and prayers you have sent our way over the past 24 hours. The prayer chain for Ryland extends from NC to VA to OH and back again. We have even received the support and prayers of strangers through your willingness to share our situation and ask for prayers on our behalf.

As of this morning, Ryland is stable. His doctors are happy with his response to their treatment thus far and would like to give him a few days to recover from the trauma of yesterday before transporting him to Duke to undergo open heart surgery. This also gives the doctors at Duke to put together their plan and the best surgical team possible to fix our little guy.

We welcome visitors today however, due to a separate infectious case in the hospital, only immediate family members will be allowed into Ryland's room. He can't risk exposure. Robin and Michael will be making trips out to the waiting room to see anyone who comes.

Again, thank you for the outpouring of support. It means so much to know we have strong network of friends, family and faith.
